Favorite trends of the moment: Monochromatic looks. I’ve been loving a tone on tone outfit recently. They seem so fresh, but also chic. I'm also loving the basket weave bags and wearing scarves around your neck and in your hair.
Favorite online shopping destinations: My go-to places for online shopping are definitely Zara (if you follow me, you know my Zara obsession is REAL), ASOS, Revolve, and a few Australian boutiques such as Sabo Skirt, Billy J boutique, and Tiger Mist. Oh, and ShopJessicaBuurman.com has some awesome shoes and bag choices.
What’s next on your wishlist? Hmm… There’s so much! I’ve been dying for a new designer bag – either Gucci or YSL, but we just bought a new house soooo maybe I’ll just stick with my more realistic wishlist – another Lack of Color hat, vintage graphic tees, and some high-waisted denim.
Favorite snack: Popcorn! I’ve been making my own homemade popcorn lately with just some salt and pepper and it’s delish. I also love a good apple (and so does my French bulldog, Hobbs! He begs the hardest for a piece of an apple).
Favorite beverage: Can I say a good dry red wine? I think I only drink water, blue Powerade zeros, and wine. I’ve also been starting to drink Lime Lacroix. It’s so good!
Favorite vaca destination: Somewhere warm with beautiful décor. Miami is always a fav, but I am going to Tulum in the fall and Italy next year, which I am super excited about.
Last show you binge-watched: Dynasty--OMG. It was filmed in one of my friend’s parent’s house here in Atlanta and I.Just.Cant.Stop. I don’t watch too much tv though. Without embarrassing myself too much, the only show I’ve ever watched a full series of is Gossip Girl. Dynasty has Gossip Girl vibes, so you can’t go wrong.
Who do you look up to for style inspo? Any fav Insta accounts? There are so many! I love the vibes of @figtny so much. It may be my favorite. Mostly black and white, with a lot of white space and neutrals. It’s so chic! One account that I find myself literally searching for to see what’s new is @Sivanayla. She’s so real. Like really, real. I find her dry humor hilarious and I love her neutral home style. I also love @fakander, @andicsinger, and @laurajadestone.
What song/artist are you currently listening to on repeat? Drake is an obvious one. I feel like everyone and their mama listens to Drake these days. He’s so talented! I love the playlist “Chill Lofi Study Beats” on Spotify. I’ve been very into the low key beats lately.
Dream concert: Hmm… I cannot decide on this one! I like more laid-back concerts. One where you can have your own picnic with wine and not stand in a crowd of people (I am 5’2”, so I can get claustrophobic!) But if I had to choose a specific artist, with my height aside, I’d honestly probably say Kanye West. I definitely am not a fan of his personality, but his music and his artistic expression is on point. You can’t deny that! I am a fan of all art, and I feel like he creates art with his concerts.
Celebrity crush: Shay Mitchell!! She’s living her best life and the looks she puts together with her glam team are AMAZING. I’m also super jealous of her energy haha it’s like she never sleeps and is always ready to go!
What's your pet peeve? Wasting time and negativity.
Your biggest quirk: I sometimes will say something and immediately laugh at myself. I have no idea WHY! My husband calls me out every time. How awkward am I? haha
