SCARLET PRIVATE LABEL: Fall 2016

When you love clothes, there's nothing more fun than designing your own. That's why one of our favorite parts of our job at Scarlet is to design items for our private label. We designed a few pieces we think every girl should have in her closet--core closet must-haves, if you will. We spent endless hours brainstorming and editing samples in hopes of creating pieces that you will not only want to wear all the time, but will want to keep forever. Oversized Denim 2-in-1 Jacket + Vest

This boyfriend-style denim jacket isn't like any other denim jacket... It isn't stiff, so it's super comfy--Perfect for throwing in your carry-on for a flight, or taking to the movies in case you get cold. The barely-there distressing gives it a cool vintage feel. BUT... The coolest part? The sleeves zip right off and now, you have two jackets in one! The vest-like style is kinda new to the denim-jacket scene, and we are obsessed. Now you can wear your new favorite jacket all year long. 

For the "2-in-1" part... Just zip off your sleeves, and BOOM... You have a totally different jacket.

The Perfect Blazer in Army

If there's one thing in our closets we wear all the time, it's a boyfriend blazer. The fit is comfortable enough to wear all day at work, but cool enough to throw on over a cami or tee for a night out. Army is a huge color this fall, and we think it's the perfect neutral to add to the mix of any wardrobe.

Perfectly Destroyed Sweatshirt

If we're being honest, we probably wear sweatshirts more often than anything else in our closets. Sorry, we're not sorry. We just can't deny a comfy sweatshirt to throw on over our work out clothes, with sweatpants, or with skinny jeans and booties for a casual night out. The only thing that makes a sweatshirt better... Holes. If only they were real holes from like our mom's real 80's life. I guess this awesome heather grey sweatshirt will have to do for now ;)

Shoes X Scarlet

Earlier this year, we teamed up with two different designers to create exclusive designs. With Modern Vice, we created the Michael Jackson bootie in velvet. Velvet is a huge trend this year, as is brocade detailing. We love these booties dressed up with skinny black pants + a blazer or dressed down with distressed denim. 

We also collaborated with Kanna--a shoe company out of Spain. We wanted two loafers that were all our own. Fur accents are everywhere this fall, so we created an all black slip-on loafer with fur on the top--Needless to say, we're obsessed. Glitter, metallics, and anything glitzy and glamorous is also a big trend this year. Our blue loafers featuring several different blue materials are one of our biggest shoe crushes. The glitter is the perfect touch of fun to a classic loafer. Click the images below to shop!
